Rumberos de Cuba, Music Worldwide, Cubacheche

Cubacheche and Music Worldwide present Rumberos de Cuba on their first visit to the UK in July 2008.

One of Cuba’s top folkloric groups, Rumberos de Cuba has been described as having “some of the best and most engaging musicians and dancers from the barrios of Havana”, many of them former members of the Conjunto Folklorico Nacional de Cuba.

We are organising their first UK tour which will include both performances and workshops in rumba and the folkloric music and dance of the Yoruba and Karabali traditions.
